STATION 61, WINSTON SALEM

This fully immersive court was designed for Chris Paul in his hometown of Winston-Salem, with project management by The Urbane Artist. The design tells the story of Chris’ legacy through his accolades, achievements, and the people who shaped his journey. The upper rafters feature quotes from Chris, his late grandfather, Papa Chilly, and his college coach, Coach Prosser. Portraits of Chris wrap the pavilion’s supporting pillars, making his legacy both a visual and symbolic foundation for the court. On the reverse side of each Chris Paul portrait is a portrait of a young child, looking toward their own dreams. Together, these images connect achievement with possibility, honoring the legacy Chris has built while inspiring the next generation to create one of their own.
